Desktop view has a sidebar, wider layout, and is intended for laptops / tablets. FieldLog picks automatically based on device; use this to override.
Leave blank for same-origin (default). Set to server IP for remote access.

Getting Started
FieldLog captures field data — photos, voice memos, notes, and structured form entries — from your mobile device. Open the app, pick a discipline, choose a form, and start filling in fields.
Authentication
Your site administrator sets the access mode:
- Open — enter your name and start working, no verification needed.
- Authorized — enter your name; it must match an approved user list.
- PIN Required — enter your name and a personal PIN to log in.
Your name auto-fills the inspector field on every submission.
Filling Out Forms
- Required fields are marked with a red asterisk. Submit and Again buttons stay greyed out until all required fields are filled.
- Photos — tap the camera button to take a photo or choose from your gallery.
- Voice memos — tap the microphone to record. Memos may be transcribed automatically depending on form settings.
- Voice Fill — tap the Voice Fill button to speak a description; AI fills matching form fields from your speech.
- Drawings & Signatures — draw directly on the canvas with your finger.
Submitting
- Submit — sends the form and returns to the form menu (or stays on the form, depending on your settings).
- Again — submits the form and immediately opens a new copy. Fields marked as “copyable” carry their values over.
Offline & Sync
FieldLog works without an internet connection. Submissions queue locally and upload automatically when you reconnect. The badge in the header shows how many are waiting.
To ensure forms are available offline, open each form once while connected.
